This canned seafood is made with a very exclusive, hard-to-find fish, the Small Mackerels that come from inshore fishing along the Atlantic coast. At Real Conservera we purchase our fish and seafood from local Galician seafood markets and transport it directly to our cannery to make our canned seafood products.

Once in our hands, we clean the Small Mackerels by hand, roast them and pack them, one by one, manually. As a result, we offer small-sized whole gutted mackerels coated in olive oil that have a very characteristic texture and flavor. We are the only cannery that offers whole canned Mackerels as they are normally Mackerel fillets.

Once sealed, the Small Mackerels in Olive Oil have a shelf life of 6 years. Store in a cool, dry place until consumed.

We recommend tasting as an appetizer or making a Mackerel toast with tomato and chive. In addition, white wine is the perfect pairing.
